Our Scholars Work
1
Nutritionist Guide
Healthy eating in childhood and adolescence is important for proper growth and development and to prevent various health conditions. Here at NBLC, we provide nutritional breakfast, lunch, and snacks for our scholars.
2
Sign Language
Research shows that sign language speeds up speech development, reduces frustration in young children by giving them a means to express themselves before they know how to talk, increases parent-child bonding, and lets babies communicate vital information.
3
Math
Math is important and it's important to help young children develop their mathematical thinking. We have some of the best childcare educators to provide our scholars with achieving excellence.
4
Music
Music ignites all areas of child development and skills for school readiness, including intellectual, social-emotional, motor, language, and overall literacy. It helps the body and the mind work together. Exposing children to music during early development helps them learn the sounds and meanings of words.
5
Outside Play
Outdoor play also provides a chance to practice social and emotional skills with other children, including problem solving, turn taking, encouragement, self-control, safe risk taking, and following the rules of a game.
6
Movement
Research shows a link between cognitive development and movement, meaning children need opportunities to move so they can learn. Rolling, crawling, skipping, and jumping, along with a variety of other movement activities, build the brain during the first years of a child's life.
